OpenClaw and the next productivity leap
CapitalStack session Thursday, March 5th at 1pm EST

Over the past few weeks I’ve been experimenting with OpenClaw, an open-source framework that lets users build AI agents (i.e., software that doesn’t just answer questions, but actually runs workflows on its own).
Most people are still thinking about AI as something you chat with. You ask a question, it gives you an answer… which is helpful, but you’re still doing all the driving.
Agents are different. You design a workflow once, connect it to your tools, and it runs in the background—researching, organizing data, and executing tasks without constant supervision.
I’m still early in my experimentation with it, but even basic workflows have already caught my attention for capital markets work. For example, we’ve been testing agents that can:
Take a sponsor deck,
Extract the key data,
Match it to investors in our database,
Research the investors’ background, and
Draft personalized outreach emails
Tasks that used to take hours of manual work can now run automatically.
Because of how powerful this feels—even at the early stage—we’re hosting a short session this week inside CapitalStack to walk through it.
🦞 Introduction to OpenClaw
Thursday, March 5, 1:00–2:00pm EST
This session will introduce the fundamentals of OpenClaw and agent-based workflows. We’ll unpack why agentic infrastructure represents a real step change in productivity—shifting the model from “hire another analyst” to “design an agent and its workflows.”
We’ll also show how we’ve started experimenting internally, including setting up our first dedicated Mac Mini environment to run agents against real CapitalStack use cases across research, investor outreach, and capital markets execution.
The goal isn’t to turn everyone into engineers. It’s simply to show what’s now possible—and how curious operators can start building their own workflows.
This session is exclusive to CapitalStack members. If you’re already in the community, you’ll receive the event link directly.
Looking forward to exploring this together.
